Check your wheel bearings. Although you may not have play in them sounds like one is bad. grab your tire from the top and push and pull if neither have movement remove the cv axle from the spindle(bearing) and turn the bearing. feel for a roughness, some tightness is normal.The interior glass fogs up when I turn on the heater in my 97 Mercedes c-280?

your solution is behind the wheelbearing cap. keep after it. As a last resort,remove the strut and lower control arm and ball joint. Basically, replace the entire wheel assembly, encluding the axle. Don't forget the hydraulic brake hose. You will need to bleed the brakes after this is done.
