Question:
I am having problems with my engine. It will start right up and idle beutifully at about 1900rpm. I give it a little gas and it will accelerate. Once I let off on the gas it stalls. It starts right up again, and wont stay running unless I hold down the gas. What could it be?

How to put a thermastat in my '95 Buick?
i'm not a guy, but into honda's... i had a civic. did the same thing. it was the idle control sensor. it is attached to the throttle body. unfortunatley you can't just replace the sensor, you have to get a whole new throttle body, which on a good day you can find in a junk yard for $800. i didn't have the money so i found a way to unclip it anyway (with the engine off) and plugged it back in... if you do be careful it's not made to.. what year is it?it sounds as if you need a IAC "idle air control valve" replace it. or to do an idle learn " crank your car and let idle for 10 min with everything turned off."
