Electronic rust protection module-is this effective or do I have do the Rust Spray.?

Question:
2005 Honda Civic. 61,000 km
I was told that this Electronic Rust Protection module that has been installed is warranted for 10 years. Is this good enough to protect the car against Rust ?

Answers:

Shock absorbers difference?

Electronic rust protection is quite a solution IF car adequately grounded, and the electronic current source didn't fail. Cars don't ground necessarily top of the tops, so in cars there's a possibility that, if corrosion already started, it won't stop. Rust spray is reassurement. If corrosion started, use a rust converter over the rusted parts, and plain rust spray over the unrusted surfaces.
