I'm not a professional mechanic but I've done several brake jobs, and it takes me about two to three hours to do a brake job on a vehicle with the standard front disc brakes and rear drum brakes (not anti-locks). That includes replacing the pads, having the discs and drums turned, bleeding the brake lines, and replacing the brake hardware in the rear drums.
