Looking for a good fiber-glassing information or tutorial!?
OK the exception to the rule is Detroit diesels they have screw in and they are a two cycle diesels they use a roots type blower to blow there exhaust out so there injectors hardly ever freeze up the only diesel they produced that was not a two cycle was the 6.2 diesel found in early gm trucks they all so had screwed in injectorsPressed with a retaining clip. Remove that and they lift right out.
How hard would it be to change the brakes on a.....?
It depends on the manufacturer. They are never screwed in, because they have to point a certain way, and threads tend to gum up and make removal hard.
In some engines you have to use special pullers and pry bars to work them out. I've never done an engine where every one came out easy. There is always one where the "o"ring has failed and combustion gas has caused the injector to freeze up in it's guide. The guide itself can corrode and that can be a pain to remove as well.
.
Either use plastic plugs made for your engine or cover each hole after removal. Plug all fuel lines and temporarily disable the starter circuit. Either install new injectors or take them to a specialty shop to have them rebuilt.
.
The electronic fuel injectors used in cars are easy to remove, but you can screw up putting the new one in.
You have to be very careful, and work very clean, you don't want to mess up your job because of some loose grit or dirt.

The old mechanic's saying is especially true for injectors:
"If You Have To Force It, You Are Doing It Wrong!"
timing belt concerns for a 1999 T ford focus 1.8 petrol?
Never say Never! Out in the shop is my Chevrolet Diesel Suburban. I have changed the injectors myself and they ARE "screwed in". Mine take a 30mm special socket to remove, and use a COPPER seal instead of an O-ring.Pressed in
Were can I get a longer dipstick for my car?
almost all are pressed in, being held in by a retaining clipCar starts then turns off after 2 seconds?
All the ones I've ever worked on have retaining brackets that bolt them into place. There is a separate holddown bracket for each injector.Citroen Saxo Temperature Gauge fault?
most are screwed inI've never heard of "pressed in" injectors - diesel or otherwise. Gas injectors are normally held in place by some kind of a bracket, and diesel - due to high compression - are usually screwed into the head.
