Reset the system by the following procedure:
Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position with the odometer reading shown.
Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while holding down the trip meter reset knob. Hold down the knob for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates "000000" and the light goes off. If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing.

Read your owners manual..........Turn the key to the on position, don't start the car, make sure the odometer is showing the actual mileage, not trip A or B. Turn the key back to the off position, press and hold the trip/reset button. Continue to hold it down and turn the key back to the on position. Continue holding the trip/reset button while the mileage flashes rows of zeros until the actual mileage appears again. Release the button, your maintenance light should be reset.
