Question:
The car has 63,000 original miles. It has a new starter, new battery, but it won't start. I believe the timing belt is fine, can it be the starter solenoid or distributor? Please help, cause the car is in great shape.

When I brake and let go...I hear some weird noise. What could be wrong?
It cranks but don't start? Do you smell fuel? Or are able to check to see or hear the fuel pump run just before you try to start it? If you hear it, then you might want to swap the fuel filter for a new one. If not, then check fuses, or relay for the fuel pump. Or worse case have to replace the pump itself. Good luck.really i would shoot the car just like a horse....sorry i cant stand thar jap stuff.....get a harley.
Does anyone know where to find a fuse diagram for a 1993 Nissan Altima?
i own a repair shop, and if its turning over good ,but not trying to fire, you need to pull a plug wire ,off of it,and crank it,and see if it is getting any fire to it,,these cars usually don't give much trouble about starting good,if its not you need a new coil,,they will go dead in an instant, without warning,,this sounds like whats happened to yours ,,give it a try ,,also check for fuel,,look in the fuse panel and make sure it doesn't have any bad fuses in it,good luck ,hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas.Does the car's Cell Phone Charger take energy out of Gas or Battery?
Well, you listed some items that were replaced, making it sound like the car would at least crank ok.....then you questioned the starter solenoid.....like the car wouldn't crank ok.....Hmm. Let's assume for the moment that it does crank properly. One simple, common problem with the early Toys was the mass air. It controls the fuel pump. Its an old trapdoor style and is easy to check. Take off the inlet tube to the mass air, and with the key on, push the flap inside and listen for the fuel pump to kick on. Also, if the pipe between the mass air and the actual intake is loose or torn, (not the filter side) that will prevent the mass air flap from operating when you were cranking the engine. But either way, moving the flap manually should make the pump run when the key is on.More Questions & Answers ...
