How do i fix minor rust damage on my vehicle?

Many owners manuals suggest at 50k miles. Some make it to 100k miles. Consult your local Lexus dealer if you don't have an owners manual. The transmission oil filters probably need to be changed at the same time. I wouldn't suggest doing it yourself if it is still under warranty.

i would say after every 3,000 miles than change oil and get a tranny tuenup! however, it might be more than that! perhaps every 5,000 miles!

How to get rid of scratch on car! went through the clear coat?

You'll have to read yourn owners manual to see what the oil change interval is. Typically, its from 65,000 to near 100,000 miles. If your mechanically inclined you can change it yourself. I recommend buying the fluid or oil at your Lexus dealer so your assured of getting the correct stuff. All you need to do for a manual trans is find the drain plug, remove same and let the old oil drain into a pan. Replace the drain plug and remove the filler plug and install the recommended amount of new oil. For automatics, its a little different on some models. Find the drain plug(s), there may be one for the trans case and one for the converter, you will have to research this to find out. If you have a drain plug in both, drain well, replace drain plugs, and fill with fresh fluid via the dipstick tube. If you do not have a drain plug in the converter, you will need to drain the case, refill, drive the car 10 miles, redrain the case and refil and repeat this a third time to get all of the fluid changed properly. Its not a hard or expensive job to do, your dealer can do it, but you'll pay twice as much for the privledge.

Auto A/C install?

you didn't say what year ? anyway your first trans fluid service does not need to be a complete tare down & change , if the car is within 2 years old you can just get the trans fluid flushed this will remove any kind of grime in the fluid and it will make it easier to shift gears. the right interval is at 12000 miles, if you are having shifting issues then i would take it to the dealer and have them run a diagnostic check on it , if it is still under warrenty then it shouldn't cost you anything ! average cost is anywhere from $ 65.00 to around $ 95.00 depending on type of car and where you go .
