If I had a choice between trusting some guy behind a parts counter and the manufacturer of my car I know what I would chose - and I deal with parts counter guys every day.

Did the guy at Auto Zone design and manufacture your engine? Since the answer is "No", that obviously means he does not know what weight oil is best to use. The best weight oil to use is to follow what they manufacturer recomends.

Average price for a fuel pump?

Stick with the manufacturers recommendations, since they designed the engine to run with that grade. Multi-grade oils are similar, but 5w30 oil is usually only recommended for very cold weather, since it is slightly thinner in viscosity.

Exhaust H?

Follow the factory recommended viscosity. If you live in the north where the ambient temps. drop below zero personally I'd go for 5W-30 in the winter months. The oil is pumped upstairs quicker and the motor turns over easier and the viscosity's the same after the motors warms up. The most wear in any type of engine happens during cold start-up. Internal engine parts run cooler with low viscosity oil.

I hear a creeking sound when I ease off my breaks. Whats that?

Go to: Joe Gibbs Racing Oil to see which viscosity they use for: #1. Qualifying #2. Plate Racing #3. Open (850) carb. racing.

95 Jeep Grand Cherokee has a high speed miss at 55 to 70 mph at crusing speed no load other wise run great ?

if you already baught 5w30 and put it in then you are fine. Next time just get 10w30. I am suprised that the owners manual says 10w30 though. Double check that look at the temps for the oil specs. Either way you are fine with both
