Recently the car has been stalling when comming to a stop. This happens around twice a day. Being an auto. car I select N. and it starts up again. Obviously this will be dangerous some day. Any Merc. owners there who know exactly how to diagnose this problem in a logical and DIY way.

Could well be the idle air control valve. Take it off and ruin some brake fluid through it. Let it dry out and refit. Might well cure it.what is CC power or 2stroke,4stroke in bikes car?
PS dont listen to know it all down below. Brake fluid works fine. Done it dozens of times to different motors. Carb cleaner is just a specific substance. Petrol works the same.
I would say the old darling has a senility proplem , i would think that just about everything is worn out, but being a merc it sounds like carb to me , try an old freind of mine the best merc man i know he owns euro cars in Farcet peterbourgh , worth a ring
