Question:
I just bought a 2005 dodge sx 2.0 and was told the brakes were squeaky because it was sitting for a while. So I've been driving around and while the more I drive (in one day) the less they squeak they're still quite embarassing - and when I start driving around the next day its like starting over from scratch with full volume squeaks. The 2 places I took the car basically told me this model is notorious for having squeaky brakes and basically to just deal with it. Does anyone else have any advice, or ideas to get them to stop squealing? Thanks!

most noisy brakes are caused by the metalic compounds of the brake pads. there are products to coat the pads to stop noise. see your autoparts storeExaust Tips - Do I have to do any welding with an exaust tip that has a clamp-on inlet?
