The thermometer goes to 'red' when I'm stuck in traffic?
check the brake hoses, sounds like one of your new calipers are not working correctly (left one). you have to find out why. recheck the calipers, and hoses. make sure the caliper slides are moving freely and the caliper pistons are moving correctly. also check to make sure the brake pads are not jammed. it is possible to get a defective part right out of the box, happens at my shop ALOT. if the calipers are OK check or replace the brake hoses.Sounds like a brake line or port is clogged in the since everything else has been replaced.
