Thaw what?? Best way to warm a car up is to let it idle for a minute max and then drive off gently for the first couple of KM.Is buying a 95 nissan maxima worth it?
most newer cars have a fast idle that will do, reving the engine just takes more fuel and doesn't help with warming it upUltimately, the coolant in your system has to come up to a warmer temperature before you will notice warmth coming out from your heater.
what kind of oil do i need for a 1995 nissan sentra?
I wouldn't give it any gas. Sure, you may get the coolant to get warmer a bit quicker...but give your engine a chance to slowly warm up first. Revving the engine when it is cold, and the oil is thick isn't the best idea.
Where is the bonnet catch on a Volvo S80 T Reg. ??
A better idea would be to check your owners manual to see if your car is equipped with an engine block heater. This will keep your coolant warm overnight, and you will have warm air as soon as you start the car up. Just don't forget to unplug it before you drive away! ;-)

No this will not thaw quicker. You will require a ice scrapper to scrap your windows off unless you let it idle for a few more minutes, but this will use a bit of fuel doing so.Please help with transmission on a 1991 park avenue?
A trick I have used a few times if I can't park in a carport, garage or under a conifer tree; is cut a piece of cardboard or poster board an approximate size of your windshield and hold it down using the wiperblades on the vehicle. It will keep your window frost free. The draw back of this is when you get freezing rain or wet snow it can get kind of messy with the cardboard.
