why is my corsa sluggish in low gear after being stuck in traffic?
I used to have a vectra- it could be anything. If it is running sluggish - take it to the dealer as soon as you can or it might cause serious damage. Mine kept doing it and it was the cam belt sensor - 3 times we had it repaired in 2 months.do car shop have the right to charge me for wanting to keep my old rims?
Take it to your local Vauxhall dealer - they'll plug it in to thier computer and let you know why its come on!Last time mine came on, it was due to engine trouble - a fuse had gone or something like that?
Better to take it to a Vauxhall dealer and they'll let you know whats wrong with it.
Is it possible (or even wise) to drop rim size to save money on the tires?

Hello. its a common fault on all Vauxhalls, especially on Vectras, it may be a faulty engine management switch its happened to my Vectra loadsa times! Firstly, try buying some resetting instructions off Ebay for about £2 and try resetting it yourself like I did, it worked for me, if it still comes on you may have a fault so get it checked professionally but the garages will tell you its this, that and the other just to get money out of you so try taking it to different car repairers to be sure the fault is the same!! Good luck with the car. its a nightmare when things go wrong with your car!! Merry Christmas to you and yours from me and mine xxxHi there as many people have said it could be a number of things, what you need to do is find a local garage with a good reputation and ask them if they have a code reader, the faults that are detected are stored in the ECU memory as codes and a garage with a code reader will be able to read the code, and if you find a reputable garage they will explain to you what the fautl is and a rough estimate of what it will cost to fix it, however please bear in mind these codes are just a guidline, just because it says there is a faulty sensor it might not actually be that sensor it could be the power supply to the sensor or the earth or even another component that interacts with the fautly component that could be fautly hence why in certain circumstances the cost can be expensive as it can take a while to find the fault.
Please note not all auto engineers are trying to rip you off its not as easy as people think to repair a modern car as there can be over 60,000 components in a vehicle which need to interact with each other to make the car function properly
what's wrong with my car....??
Would you believe you may have an engine management problem? That is why the light is there. I agree with the others, what has a spare key got to do with anything?how do i lubricate front anti lock brake sensors /98 g. m. silverado?
IF THE LIGHT FLASHES IT IS AN IMOBILIZER PROBLEM. ON MY CAR THE KEY FELL APART AND A CHIP FELL OUT, YOU COULD TURN THE ENGINE OVER BUT IT WOULD NOT FIRE AND THE LIGHT FLASHED. IT STARTED WITH THE SPARE KEY. I FOUND THE CHIP AND REFITTED IT, THE CAR THEN STARTED OK. THE COIL AROUND THE IGNITION SWITCH HAS TO READ THE CHIP IN THE KEY. HOPE THIS HELPS.More Questions & Answers ...
