Does anyone know the firing order for a 1981 chevy p/u?

<>First off, disconnect your battery, then disconnect the wires from the switch...these switches are often always-hot so they can turn the fan on any time. Spray the switch threads with some WD-40 or other penetrating oil while you drain the radiator using the normal draincock (don't forget to remove the radiator cap or it won't drain completely!). You can rough-measure the drainage so you know how much to put back (it usually runs between 3-8l. Then remove your switch GENTLY so you don't strip the threads or bend the radiator. Replace your switch, close your draincock and fill 'er up!
