2000 Cadillac Escalade - heater fan only blows when turned on high?

Question:
The heat works and the AC does as well, but the fan will only blow when turned on high. This goes for the windshield defroster as well.

are my trucks valves adjusted right?

Also, the rear AC controls will only blow cold air whether the front is set to hot or cold - is that normal? was the rear only equipped with AC and not heat? or is there something wrong there as well?

What do I need to know to upkeep my new car?

i own a repair shop, and you have heater motor resistor gone bad ,this is what governs the speed of the heater motor,,it will only let it run on high,,its located on the out side of the heater box,,its has a small wiring harness that goes to it,and it just goes down in the box,,but that's why your not getting any other speeds from it,,they cost around 25 bucks new,as for the other problem,,i think the main control unit has went out in it,this is what goes from hot to cold, and when they go bad they usually leave you with just cool air,,not hot,,good luck ,if you cant find the blower motor resistor,,any one at auto zone or advance auto parts will be glad to show you where its located at,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.

As far as the rear heat-A/C I don't know.

I have a 92 civic I replaced the driver front window regulator but one of the clips thats on the window broke.

This is likely a blown fuse, or a bad fan. Many vehicles have a dual fan ac system. One fan may have gone out. As for the rear blowing cold, could this be the source of your antifreeze leak? Check under the passenger area of the car. if no leak, you likely have a bad valve in the heater line.

1996 Nissan altima wont start?

The blower motor resistor is more than likely no good.Common problem with almost any GM .As for the rear heat check the coolant level as the rear heater hoses are the highest point on the system. This means they are the first to loss coolant . No coolant to rear heater core no heat, Beyond that it could be a vac line off the controller or a block in the system some where.

How do you replace a burned out light bulb from the headlight of a 93 Honda Prelude?

There's a resistor near the switch that controls the speed of the fan. It's bypassed in high, so if it's bad, your fan will work only on high.
