What should the timing be on a chevy 383 motor?

it has a 570 lift cam and it seems the second cylinder is up so i have know idea what to do.
can anyone help with some info?

u need to get it up on TOP DEAD CENTER which is pulling out the number one spark plug stick a screw driver in that hole and turn the motor by hand till the piston hits the screwdriver and then you timing marks should be lined up on most chevys that are built like yours i run the timming on 36 degrees advanced i have a built 355 chevy and that is what my timing is set at if u need more answers please email me and i will try to help you
