My headlights seem dirty and foggy, I tried to clean them from the outside and din't work. Is there anything you recommend that might help with the problem?

if you have sealed beam headlamp,s...the fog your referring to indicate,s a slight vacuum leak..replacement is the only cure...if you have the newer bulb type....you must disassemble,clean,& reassemble....good time to replace those bulb,s.....good luck.I have to change my flat tire and have never done it before. I had this happen on my truck. What I did was take a 1/4 inch drill bit and drill a small hold in the top inside and the bottom outside of the lense houseing, NOT the lense itself. It worked great, you get the air circulating withen the lens and the moisture in the houseing will evaporate. If this doesn't work and the lenses are stained, then new lenses are the way to go.1997 camry stalls on stop (sometimes)?
If their the sealed beam (all glass, including houseing) the only cure is replacement.
When you get a "plug" put in to fix a flat tire. Is that a good way to fix a flat? Do plugs last?
Find the leak first ... you can take them out and use a air hose and blow as much of it as you can out then use a hair dryer to get rid of the rest now use some clear silicon and seal the bad boy up.I have taken some apart before and cleaned then sealed them with clear silicon they never leaked again.

you might be able to buff them with polishing compound. i would test it on a small area first to make sure it doesnt make it worse.
if you have dis-assembled the lenses to clean from the inside out make sure they are dry when you re-assemble and use silicone sealant around the lenses to prevent moisture from re-entering.
