i change my oil in my auto my self>If u go some place ur gonna get ripped off.get a book on the type of auto u got,& get some young one in ur neughborhood to do it .It isn't hard at all.all u need is X amount of motor oil the type listed for ur auto &the right amount of oil needed to fill it,&an oil filter for the type ,make & model of the auto U'll need "an oil wrench,the oil,a pan to catch the used oil ,the filter,jack the car up ,put blocks behind rear tires,loosen the oil pan drain plug,let the oil drain out,take the old filter off ,install the new filter,put the drain plug back in<get a funnel,fill her up then make sure it's all good-n-tight check the dip stick & u should be good to go,
