Question:
here's the details, I'm in frigid Wisconsin, the car was running a month or 5 weeks ago, it was having some problems with the wheel bearings (i think) so i parked it and forgot to start her up in between then and now. Now she won't start. It just makes a clicking noise when i try to turn the key. I don't think it's the battery because the lights still come on and the radio works, and i know it's not outa gas because i just put some in. What else could cause a failure to start?

Why does my car struggle to move forward when it's in first gear?
It's probably the battery - just because the radio and/or lights operate don;t let tha fool you. It takes a LOT of current flow to turn a cold/frozen starter and engine over. I bet that i fyou hook up a charger or you boost it, it will start. The cold really affects batteries and starters - at 0 degreea F, your battery has half the voltage available that it holds at 18 degrees. Conversely, the starter motor requires twice as much voltage to turn at 0 versus 18.I heard air going trough the fuel cap... is that normal?
Is it in cold weather?? The engine could be the problem. Call CAA or any other towing company and have them do something about it.How can i keep my car's windshied clean?
