Question:
We have a 1989 chevy suburban that needs a door striker for the cargo door and can't find one other than going through a dealer. Anyone out there know of another place? We have checked all the parts books and are having no luck what so ever.
Answers:
Should I change sparkplugs/air filter based on months or miles?
Umm unless the price from the dealer is insane which it might be. The dealer is really your best bet and really your only bet. Strikers are not a common aftermarket item and a junkyard striker for that would be almost 20 years old and probably wore out.I have a 2005 Chevy Aveo. I need to know what the light symbols refers to on the dash board?
do a local search on car-parts.com. this will tell u all the junk yards with in a given distance. they all have phones. give em a buzz and use your nicest talk to junk yard guys voice and they will take care of u.I had my front and back brakes changed now they are VERY tight?
Go to a salvage yard and there should be plenty of them. Maybe cost you $20. Ask for one from a low mileage wrecked truck so it isn't all worn out, most places will let you see the vehicle it came from.More Questions & Answers ...
