Strut bars affect wheel alignment?

I heard from some people saying that if you install strut bars ( the one you put under your hood ), it can mess up the wheel alignment. Is this true? Why or why not?

If the strut bar drops directly on the existing strut mount bolts there will be no problem. If the strut bar does not fit trade it to the seller and get another. Be sure it fits first!
