How about.CHANGE THE MASTER CYLINDER! It's not hard, and depending on the car, fairly inexpensive.Fix it , it`s not worth killing your self or someone else in an accident.

Try replacing the fluid with a "seal conditioning" fluid. I had very good results with my power steering leak using Valvoline's fluid. I'm not sure if such a beast exists for brake fluid, though.Peugeot 206 LX.problems with the electrics..?
Truthfully, though, I wouldn't **** around with my brake hydraulics. Get it fixed ASAP.

If your master cylinder is leaking then it needs to be repaired or replaces .. brakes are something I sure wouldn't fool with or take chances with .. you could get away with worn pads but a master .. no ..It could be a bad seal or a bushing ..any combination of things
your brakes might work fine when your coming to a slow stop but if you ever had a situation where you had to stop quickly then you might be out of luck ...
get one at an auto wreckers if you cant afford a new one .. but please consider that if you hit someone or injure someone .. it would be something you would never get over ..

you could try tightening the inlet nuts where the brake fluid lines enter it, but you really shouldn't mess around with a bad brake system. Sorry Cap'n. You gotta get it fixed. I have an uncle that had the same problem in his farm truck. ( true story) The brake fluid dripped on the exhaust manifold and caught on fire. He was in the middle of nowhere and did not have a fire extinguisher. But he had been drinking a lot of coffee. To make a long story short he got the fire out but his wife complained about a burnt hair smell the next time she drove it. He has a new fire extinguisher now :)NO! your brake system is divided into to "circuits" and the job of the master cylinder is to provide high pressure brake fluid to both circuits. If it is leaking, you are facing a complete failure of the master cylinder in the very near future. More than likely, one of the seals it in will blow out, causing complete brake system failure. Do not add any thing to the fluid, you could damage other parts in the brake system. Do not try to patch or plug any leaks, brake fluid will just eat through it and will not hold the pressure when the seal fails completely. Just get it fixed. Sorry, no other choice here.
