When I get her towed, she's not running and out of gas, to the shop what are the list of things I should have the mechanic look at first? Before she sat, she had new brakes, and a tune up. I know for sure I'll need 4 new tires, battery, and the system flushed. What else should I tell them to check? I don't want to get ripped off

Check all fluids. Do check the brakes, Change the oil too. Have them look for leaks, it's possible that the seals have dried out without use.Does it matter what material you use to replace a sagging headliner?

On a 12 year old car the brakes should be flushed too, it's probably never been done and are full of water, might even get new brakes hoses, they get weak with age. along with water hoses and fan belts

You'll want to have your fluids checked to make sure they are still good but more then likely your going to want your transmission flushed your radiator flushed and your oild flushed and all replaced with brand new transmission oil, motor oil, and coolant.More Questions & Answers ...
