I have an EB wagon and my headliner material has fallen off the backing board, and i was wanting to maybe put a different type of material up there maybe like a velvet or leather or anything. Providing I use the right glue will the material make a difference? How do you get custom materials to stick?

back in the day my dad and i put some purple crushed velvet on the headliner of a '62 Studebaker... It feels like we sinned doing that now, but back then it was rather coolwe took a giant piece of card board and cut it to fit the roof, fabric-glued the velvet to the cardboard, then we gorilla glued the cardboard up

Good choice on car to start with. Um any thing would do dude. I think a fake wood look would be filth unique. but anything would do and any Craft store would do like spotlight or something and ask them about something to stick your chosen material there.Question for paint techs . if recoating an existing clearcoat finish ..?
