Can I tow a trailer with a 99 Chevy Malibu 6cyl.?
Hi, many problems could relate to a sensor. I know from experience that volkswagen cars don't like K+N's ('Green' are fine though) because they are over oiled and it coats the MAF sensor making it unreadableClicking sound coming from under my car!?
K&N are really good to use. They have a million mile warenty. Anyway, they are build to filter the air without going bad. They tend to filter the air a little too good in the higher elevation. Being as the thinner air makes cars breath heavier here. Anyway, that would not be the reason for the problems. However, the chip being bad could cause it. Check into a good tune up and an injector cleaner.if the K&N is over oiled, it can cover the mass air sensor and cause it to fail. If you clean the treat the filter the right way, there should be no problems.
Will removing your CAT from your car make it go faster or will you lose low-end power?
I'm assuming this was the dealership. They always say crap like this. It's easier for them to assume that anything not stock is to blame for anything that fails, so they do. They especially like to pull this one when the car is under warranty and throwing a check engine light. It's just not true. A K&N filter is superior to a stock paper filter in every way unless it's over-oiled, in which case the excess oil can coat sensors.
My AC is leaking refrigerant, what should I do?
As far as it not sealing well, that's just plain BS. If you can look at the filter and it's covering the hole going to the air hose, it's seals just fine.
