I have a 2002 camaro z28 and lateley when ever i run the car hard or ona long run then i turn it off then turn it back on it gives me a week start with low RPM around half the usual and its not always but every now and then like when i drive a good minute it has turned off on me a few times because of thelow RPM and all the whole car is dead nothing works then out of the blue after a million trys it will magically turn on when i experiance the week start i hear a like whistle sound like the car had a supercharger or somthing i think its the alternator but not sure i recently had the possitive cable that goes from the starteer to the battery changed and ever since then i think the problem started and i got a new battery at the same time so i dont no which could be the problem if u have any ideas HELP!! please this car is my heart so it kills me to see it like that

it is your alternator.. and if you dont change it quickly you are gonna be replacing your battery again.. as for the changing of the cable, you might wanna make sure the smaller wire is touching the fat wires so that you get optimal perfomanceWhere on 95 7.3 deisel would you find glow plug relay?

I am going to assume it's a V8, It almost sounds like the EGR valve is sticking on it. I have seen this problem before and it's turned out to be the EGR. I would take it to the dealer and have the test it to make sure it is working correctly. Explain it to them the same way you have here. it should help them pin point it right off. They can also do a drivability on it which will show them in real time what is going on. I'm putting my money on the EGR.Car electric window repairs...?
Hello ,sounds like it could be a bearing going out or your alternator ,when the alternator is going bad your car will miss- out and run sluggish ect.oh yeah! and might not charge the battery hardly at all or none at all,SAVE $$
and buy a rebuilt alternator! OR A FORD!

check to make sure the terminals are clean and not corroded on the battery. i had this problem as well. my car wouldnt start sometimes. i had the battery changed and i had the alternator checked and it was fine. but my battery terminals were badly corroded and it wouldnt keep the battery charged. but it sounds like the alternator is bad. good luck!More Questions & Answers ...
