changing oil to often can make it burn oil so i would check the owners manual but oil now days has got a lot of detergent in them and they need to have some carbon build up to work right so i would not change it just to be doing it. i know that you are trying to keep it nice but i would let the oil get a little color to it before changing. good luck.

you should change the oil everytime you go mudding,its not completly necesery and it sounds like a hassle but its just much safer on your ride since your always around dirt and mud. You dont have to change the filter everytime but the oil is worth it. Plus i would use the synthetic oil from the honda shops,its more expensive but in the long run youll see why
