what is a constant volocity joint?
Both aren't very healthy for a car. Long periods of driving in hot weather can increase the odds of engine overheating or vapor lock. Severe cold is probably worse, since any water vapor you have hanging around in the fuel system might freeze, clogging your fuel lines. Cold weather also makes the various lubricants more viscous making them less effective and, increasing component wear before the car gets up to operating temperature. Severe cold also negatively impacts the ability of the battery to hold a charge and drive current, especially at start-up.How can I remove oil spots from my concrete driveway, (engine oil)?
NONE if You warm it ,to proper fuctioning temperature, before driving it.engine has a thermostat set at 180 degrees.she(the engine) don't know what temperature is outside.
On cold days it'll start harder in the morning and run a little bit rougher. Hot weather doesn't really affect it much. So I guess cold days are worse.
Did I Just get Scammed by a Smog Test Station?
cold weather.why does my check engine light stay on in my ford explorer 1996?
Hot weather has no bad effects on a car whatsoever..... cold weather is bad because the oil gets thick with the cold temp and dosent flow as well as when it is hot and properly lubricate the engine. So when you start your car in the ice cold, let it idle till it gets warm befor your drive it, or you will cause extensive engine wear.More Questions & Answers ...
