I have a 1995 firebird, and this guy has had my car for alomst a month. he informed me that he could replace my clutch noproblem. But he has replaced every part of it and now he cant get the air out of the line. He says it want disengage rigth you have to pump it up a couple of times and then it works, but after it sit awhile you have to do it again. like all the air is not out of the line. Please help me. Only people who know what they are talking about respond please.

The air has to be "bled" from the clutch slave cylinder much like the brake master cylinder...same process.Sometimes if you loosen the bleeder fitting and let it drip for a while it will work, just make sure the master doesn't run dry.
Have one person press the clutch to the floor and hold it there, then loosen the bleeder fitting,when fluid stops coming out( should take just a few seconds) tighten the fitting and then let the clutch pedal up and repeat this process several times until the pedal is firm,don't let the master cylinder run dry.
If you're by yourself you need to put a hose over the bleeder fitting and put the other end into a bottle with some brake fluid in it. The end of the hose needs to be submerged in the fluid so air doesn't travel back up the hose.Pump the clutch for a while making sure not to drain the master cylinder and tighten the fitting.
