Question:
I was thinking the dealership, but are there other options? Will any auto shop do the trick? Can you give me a ball park price, so I can do some negotiating, fortunately is wasn’t a window that rolls up and down, rather a small window attached to the back door. Thanks yahoo cats...

Where can i get my car painted? i live in N Y?
My car insurance covers this kind of problem.Check your policy you should be covered.
Look in the yellow pages under glass. There are companies that will come to your house or to your place of work and fix it there. Many garages use these services to do the ones that they have. You don't mention your car, so we'll say $300.00, that is an average price. If your car is pricey it will go up.
If you have insurance, contact them and they can give you some suggestions. Some places come to you! Or you can look in the yellow pages under index -glass - window - replacements.
