Car electrical problems?

Question:
I heard Mitsubishi Eclipses had electrical problems. Should I forget bout gettin subwoofers. the previous owner had subs, but i don't want to risk it

Answers:

How do you reprogram a car key ??

Man I've put systems in Eclipses before with NO prob.'s, if there is any problems its b/c you wired something wrong, other than that they don't have any problems, just run your wires under the carpet and tucked away so it doesn't look ghetto as hell like some people do it...and that will help you not get any cuts or crimps that will lead to electrical problems and shorts. So if you want to do a system, go for it, do it right and take your time and u won't have any problems.

Did the previous owner have problems? You might just ask him how he had it wired and how big an amp he had pushing the subs.
