Question:
I am getting a code reading for a Mass Airflow Sensor that has gone bad on my 1993 GMC Sonoma Pickup. But that year model does not have a Mass Airflow Sensor. Why is this happening. I installed a new computer and made sure it has the correct PROM for that year model. What can I do to correct this problem?

why do you not fill your tires with air on a cold day?
it should have a maf, either in line in the air intake or off of a tube mounted to the firewall. its an older style and uses vacuum to monitor how much air is flowing into the engine. could be wrong but check. its a rectangular black box about 1 in thick and 3 in long and 2 in wide.More Questions & Answers ...
