Question:
do u have to set the valuve lash on rolling rocker on a 350 csb. If so how do u do it
Answers:
Replacing Throttle Postion Sensor? VW Jetta?
It depends on the camshaft. If it is a hydraulic, or hydraulic roller there is no lash. The valve is adjusted by rotating the camshaft to the fully closed position (bottom center of the cam lobe) on each individual valve, back the lash nut off until you can rotate the pushrod freely, at that point tighten the lash nut until you begin to feel drag on the pushrod when you rotate it. Then tighten one full turn. repeat for each valve. If it is a solid, then yes you set the lash (again with lifter at bottom center of the individual lobe) with a feeler guage according to cam specs.Engine turning but car not starting..? 2002 Olds Alero?
