take it it's a mk5 cortina 'cos not many others about now!
capri 1.6/2.0 are the same, capri 2.8 will fit and give better brakes (it's got a bigger cylinder in it so moves more fluid).
If yours is mk1,2 or 3 use an escort mk 1/2 one.
