Dropped a screw inside the vent?
It won't hurt the engine at all, it will help. Just may leak oil out the seals because synthetic generaly has a lower viscosity and molecular bond.
Sometimes the synthetic will make worn seals leak some.

Problem with my brakes i think i have a fiat punto and i was driving?
I'm considering the same thing and my mechanic friend says it will be fine, just to make sure you change the filter as well (of course).Dont switch if you have been using regular oil and have over 100K miles, synthetic oil is a detergent oil and will clean out the rings and oil seals. then you will have leaks.
Why & what makes Synthetic engine oil better ?
It'll be fine. That leak thing is just an old wives tale from when synthetic only came in 5W20 and was thinner than other oils. Now you just buy whatever weight you want. All approved motor oils are detergent. Bumbles is about as bright as his picture.More Questions & Answers ...
