It's burning oil. If you didn't know this much you probably should have a professional look at it.Can I blame the oil change place for my car overheating?
Could have a blown gasket. which wold make you oil leak into you valves, which would cause the smoke, OR could have a blown cyl.car in garage for mot/repairs?
Burning oil. Take it to the garage. What's wrong with my central locking?
Put it on the patchWhat is the Average hourly wage for a Master Tech in Charlston, SC?
IT MEANS YOU'RE BURNING OIL YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE AUTO PLACE AND PAY THE 500 DOLLARS AND THEN WAIT 4 HOURS ITS FIXED I DONT KNOW HOW THEY DO ITwould two t3 turbos be enough for 350sbc it is stock except for forged pistons?
You might want to try the piston rings on the engine that can cause it to smoke like that.Whats best to clean headlight covers?
Could be worn piston rings. If worn out enough, oil will seep intothe cylinder where the gas ignites. The oil mixes with the gas and produces smoke.
It could be the valve seals or piston rings.Possibly the head gasket.Sell it before it blows up!
Ever think about a ring and/or valve job . How old is the car, how many miles, what kind of driving (hauling heavy loads on trailers , etc ) all have bear-ring on your problem. Take it to a mechanic (I take it your not one ) that you trust and let 'em give you an honest appraisal on problem and repair costs and guaranties on work . It could be a small ( relatively cheap ) problem or may be more than the car is worth.
How do you replace the Belt Tensioner on a 1998 Ford Ranger 4 Cyl.?
such kind of symptoms appear when you have old or deteriorated valve rubber rings. Have them changed! They don't usually cost a lot. Maybe less than a 100 dollars for the whole job. The job is also done in a couple of hours, as you don't need to tune anything after changing them.
GOOD LUCK
Where is the fuse for the fan blower in a 99 ford taurus?
I would say blown head gasketSometimes antifreeze will leak through to the cylinders (usually a head gasket). Another cause could be the modulator valve on the transmission allowing transmission fluid to wick into the fuel system through the vacuum line. To rule out the antifreeze leak, pull out the dipstick to the crankcase and inspect for any white milky foam. If this shows no sign of irregularities, then the modulator valve will be the culprit.
If it only smokes at takeoff it's the valve stem seals if its all the time then its the piston rings. Either rebuild the engine or replace(engine or car).
