Fit a turbo or supercharger?

Because you have a faulty battery or alternator. The reason the car dies, is because your power steering pump is taking all the power from the battery, and you dont have enough power getting to the ignition/distributer.
If you have an old battery, thats more then likely your problem, but it could be other things.
When was the last time you changed your spark plugs or wires? if you have 200,000 miles on the car with the originial plugs and wires, nothing more needs to be said.
Now if you have a relatively new battery and plugs/wires, then its more then likely a failing distributer, that cannot keep up with the power demands to keep your battery charged.
autozone will check your battery for free. Not knowing what kind of car you have limits the battery info i can give you. They will be able to help.
