battery on my car is flat?

Swap front tires for rear tires. If it doesn't pull you have a problem with a new tire.

will the smog equiqment from a 84 cressida fit a 82 corolla?

Dealer should have been sure wheels would fit your car.Seems like he didn't.Ask for refund or swap for wheels that fit.

I have a Nissan Maxima?

if the rims had been balance and the car had alignment, have your brakes check. when there is a bad caliper or brake hose it can keep your brake partially applied on the left front tire (most likely) causing car to drift left.

What's wrong with my SUV when it "skips" uphill?

It seems that one of the wheels (probably the front left) is rubbing something. I would make sure that is the problem then try to get my money back from the place where you got the rims. If you have a friend that knows about cars get them to go with you to the mechanic or get them to check out the car.

engine light still on?

I would swap the tires from the left side to the right and see if it clears up or criss cross swap them.. just a tire rotation..side to side and see if it pulls to the right or clears up. If it pulls to the right after you swap side to side then you have a slipped belt in one of the tires. I have seen this many times.. and I would put 100.00 on that if you swapped the tires from one side to the other it will clear the problem or make it pull to the opposite direction.

how do you adjust a 92 kenworth dump trucks brakes?

After that you have to figure out which tire has a slipped belt.. usually you can see it rolling the tire when inflated on the ground and looking closely at the tread pattern.

approx. how much would it cost to replace a transmition to a 97 audi a4?

How larger are the new rims on your car? You may need to get a camber kit for your car to make sure that the car can be properly aligned. The stock suspension was designed for a certain sized rim and tire, and when you put anything after market on that differs from the original specifications you have to compensate for that somehow. A camber kit helps adjust the suspension for larger rims that are put on vehicles.

My fan belt is 9 years old with 70 thousand miles on it but it looks fine should I replace it anyways?

What scott said, front to rear.

Is my transmission dead?

Did you change the size of the tires or the width of the rims? Some autos are extremely touchy if you change either or both of these sizes. Personally I would go to the Hunter Alignment Equipment website and form there you can find a dealer in your area who has this equipment. Go to a Hunter equipped shop and tell them exactly what you feel as you drive the car. I m pretty sure your car has McPherson struts on the front. The caster and camber usually can't be adjusted. The toe in or out can be altered. A bit more toe out on the right side may solve your problem. Keep this in mind anything under 1/16 of an inch toe in is OK no matter what the spec. is for your car. To correct caster and camber you will have to purchase "camber plates". There about $35.00 each, you will need two of these. They are installed above the struts. These plates allow the alignment shop to change the camber (the adjustment which changes the tilt of the top of the tires closer together or further apart. Caster is the line from the top of the strut through true center of the lower ball joint. This may be adjusted also. More positive caster helps the steering wheel center itself as you drive in a straight line. Good luck. I'd be interested how you make out. Oh, have both inner and outer tie rod ends checked also and the circumference of both front tires. If the left side is larger swap it to the right side. Also double check the sizes of the tires they must be the same. If the circumference is on any of the tires by more than 1/8 of an inch demand another set of tires.
