My car has been sitting for a few days in very cold weather and now it wont start.My question is if i plug the block heater in for abit will it help .Any suggestions would be helpful

Well, it wouldn't hurt, that's for sure. I'd suggest a charger on the battery too to make sure it's fully up.As an absolute last resort, starting spray, applied SPARINGLY.

25% chance. Minimal effort for a good chance. I don't know whether it is cranking over or how cold it is where you live, so it's a tough call. The colder it is, the better chance of the block heater working. If it's below 0, the block heater will be enough to make the difference. If it's in the 20's or 30's, it's probably a dead battery.
