1988 Jaguar XJ6 3.6L wont Start?

Question:
I have a 1988 Jaguar XJ6 3.6L with 107K miles on it. Two days ago I left the lights on overnight and the battery died. I bought a brand new replacement and it cranked up and ran fine. Then this morning I go out to crank it up and it won't turn over. So i know that it's not the battery. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Most likely a terminal flipped off or is loose. Check your connections first. Check your lights, if you have no power, it is definately an electrical problem. Check your fuses. Don't discount a battery problem, it could have been a dud and didn't take a charge.

You still need to check the battery, then clean the battery connections and check to see if they are loose. since the engine ran it still may be a battery problem, connections bad ground etc. To check battery take to Kragen or Auto zone etc, as they will check and charge if necessary for free.
