Question:
I have a 1988 Jaguar XJ6 3.6L with 107K miles on it. Two days ago I left the lights on overnight and the battery died. I bought a brand new replacement and it cranked up and ran fine. Then this morning I go out to crank it up and it won't turn over. So i know that it's not the battery. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

why is my car not getting warm until im driving?
It's a Jag. That's part of your problem. Nice cars, but they have problems. Nice to see yours is still running! How do you change the Coolant of a Nissan Exterra 2000?
Most likely a terminal flipped off or is loose. Check your connections first. Check your lights, if you have no power, it is definately an electrical problem. Check your fuses. Don't discount a battery problem, it could have been a dud and didn't take a charge.
Good luck!
Your starter or altenator has gone bad probably.
first problem is it a Jaguar... but sounds like something is grounding out your battery causing it to go dead
Can you bolt a 6-pack carburetor setup onto a smaller Mopar engine such as a 361, 383, or a 318?
jags are junkEngine on 1995 engine is loose, how much to fix?
You still need to check the battery, then clean the battery connections and check to see if they are loose. since the engine ran it still may be a battery problem, connections bad ground etc. To check battery take to Kragen or Auto zone etc, as they will check and charge if necessary for free. You need to get the charging rate of the alternator checked if its a 4tr
model its poss your rectifier pack is defective Regards Mick UK used to work on them
