Question:
If my car has been sitting for a while, it will start just fine. If I take a short trip (like from home to McDonalds), when I come out to my car it will start, shutter, and then die. If I let it sit for a couple of hours and come back, it will start right up. Sometimes, if if give it a little gas as I'm starting it, it might start. I have has it to the dealership twice for this problem. The first time, they said it was a bad battery. So I replaced that. Nope! It still does it. I took it back. They had it for a week, and they finally called and said that they couldn't get it to act up. I said "Forget it" and I went and got it. I'm sick of screwing with them and being late to school because my car won't start.
what are some signs of bad/water in your gas?

Answers:
Its doing it when warm, on open loop. It sounds like bad plugs or a partially blocked fuel filter or at this point a little combination of both.
tyr a fuel pump test & have them do a computer scan( U may have to take it to a mr .goodwrench as the independent shops scanner maynot scan it right) U could try a fuel filter also
