It's no so much the wax that makes it last a long time, but what you wash the car with. A strong detergent will eat the wax off. I suggest any good paste wax, and then use something like zipwax car wash.My car dies when I come to a stop. What could be wrong? When I put it in neutral, it is fine.?
I detail cars for shows and for daily drivers. There is no such thing as the best. I find Klasse Sealant Glaze and Pinnacle Souveran to be the 2 that I hold in high esteem. The Klasse is hyper-shiny and arguably one of the most durable (6+ months, at least). Pinnacle Souveran is the most beautiful (wet, deep, warm glow) for dark colors but lasts only 2 months at most. For over-the-counter inexpensive waxes, Duragloss Aquawax (at NAPA and Carquest stores) is almost as good as Klasse, is very easy to use (it's a spray wax) and lasts a long time. NuFinish lasts a long time but not good looking at all.
