I needed to know how much horse power my 5.0 302 liter engine has just stok it is also an EFI 5.0?

Question:
I have a 1987 mercury cougar with a 302 liter 5.0 in it and i would like to know what horse power it has out of the factory and what i can do to increase my horse power without spending a lot of money??

Answers:

Left turn signal indicator staying solid on the instrument panel, why?

Those 87 302s were rated 205hp from the factory in the Mustangs, so I would assume the Cougars would be rated the same.

Vehicle is technically totalled but I can still drive the car?

To increase horsepower, get rid of that crappy stock exhaust, and get some better flowing duals with a crossover. Check out http://www.sbftech.com for some cool tricks, plus there are lots of guys on there that really know what they are talking about.

These 2 will give you about 25 to 30 HP more and both parts for around $100
