my car is making a scraping noise like a clak clak clak when i turn it on, what is it?
It all depends if you are talking about painting parts on your car or your whole car. If you want to paint your whole car have a body shop do it. The fumes from all the paint will have your neighbors calling the police etc. If they are parts then there wont be much fumes going around. The 1st thing you want to do is take all the old paint off, get it down to bare metal. If you have and dents etc. you will have to but body filler over them and sand them smooth to where it's even with the surrounding area. The next thing is primer. Put 2 to 3 coats on. Let it dry. After it's dry spray a light dusting of black sandable primer. It will show the high spots and low spots. Wet sand the primer with 400 grit sandpaper. Sand the primer until the black primer is gone. If there is metal or body filler showing spray a light coat of primer over it. After the primer is done spray 2 to 4 coats of color. Let it dry for 24 hrs. Then spray 3-5 coats of clear over it. The important thing is don't go to slow or you will have runs in the paint and if you go to fast it's going to look like crap.would low break fluid cause the check engine light to come on ?
Hope this helps you.
