Help me with my dash lights please?

Question:
i have an 87 accord, and when i turn my lights on in the winter time... the dash lights and the tail lights take a minute to come on... but the headlights are on instantly... when the lights do finally come on... i dont hear any clicking from a relay or anything... just silence

these dash lights have electrical relays and in the cold winter weather the relay tends to operate slower --- the ralay doesn't click ---- if you want to spend some $'s on the problem go ahead and find an electrics mechanic autos .... live with the minute or so .... the H.LAMPS are wired direct and are on instantly -- this is how it works....
