1983 Chevrolet Record running hot?

Question:
Is the heatercore and the radiator core the same thing.

Answers:

Dealer repair shop says bad gasoline, Tetco Chevron denies it - I'm stuck in the middle?

The heater core is in the car "in the dash" the radiator is in the engine compartment. If your car is running hot you should make sure the fan is working in the engine compartment. If it is than you need a new thermostat or a water pump. If your car gets hot enough you can warped the heads and cause serious damage.
