starting problem with citroen synergie:
just hear a click, then nothing. the battery is ok.
There is a red l.e.d that comes on when I try to start, I have not seen it light before.
Can anyone help...

Sounds like the starter motor bendix. Try rocking the car back and forth in gear or give the starter motor a "tap" with a hammer. Hopefully the bendix will release.1995 Toyota 4 Runner clutch help...?

where is the led and do you have an alarm fitted to the car?if not then cheak with citroen to see if the led is not part of the ecu.

check the power cables on the starter motor, I've had the same trouble once where one of the cables had snapped off, causing the immob led to appear, but if not take the starter motor off and do a bench test to check it properly.More Questions & Answers ...
