how to drop a 99 silverado using th lowring blocks?
You need to talk to my 2nd son. He did just this. He bought a second car. An old one. And swapped out the transmission. My first son informs me you need the following: transmission, cables, pedal set, shifter, and most importantly the computer from the a car with a manual transmission, preferably from the same or a compatible year of the same model. How can you remove the grease on your hands?
My 2nd son did it too his own car, a '86(?) Honda Civic, for the cost of a junk car ($400) plus a few odds and ends. Total about $500.
My 1st son did it to a '94 Mustang for $2000 for the transmission, $700 for additional parts, and $700 in work by Amco Transmissions. Total about $3400.
Obviously, cost can vary widely. The Honda was swapped out for "pleasure." The Mustang was swapped out because racing killed the automatic.

02 Volvo twin turbo T-6 white smoke fron exhaust...?
Yes it's possible, but for the expense you'd probably be better off trading in your Accord for one with a 5 sp tranny.have I just wrecked my car battery, by jump starting it with a diesel van?
It is possible, but will require extensive work that would cost more than the value of this vehicle. My sugestion would be that if you like this particular model and year, purchase one with an automatic transmission...it's possible but costs alot. it's cheaper swapping for a manual from a junked or selling your automatic and buying a manual.
worn out car keys, call a locksmith?
It can be done by changing the complete trans axle unit and the ECM. How much will it cost, you say? More than the car is worth.More Questions & Answers ...
