Question:
2002 Saturn SL1 - I just recently did an oil change and soon after the oil is almost all gone. This is the second time this has happened. I've checked and I can't find any leaks. I've also pulled the plugs to see if any oil was on them and theres not. The exaust isn't smoking or anything. What else should I check?

This is normal for a Saturn and any Saturn dealer will tell you this. There is not really a fix for it. The only thing you can do is check your oil level so that you don't burn it up.Maybe the drain plug or the oil filter isn't on tight. Make sure to check it often and top it off if it's low!
saturns burn oil its normal u just need to keep adding it machanic 7 years
What might cause a bumping sound from the rear of a 1994 Corolla?
A lot of times oil can leak into your combustion chamber thru the valves. Sometimes its not enough to smoke but it all goes away. We used to have a Saturn that did that very thing. You can try adding Smoke-B-gone. Even if you dont have smoke it will slow the oil flowing into the combustion chamber.have five.1/2honda on a aircompresor will not stay running why?
how many miles are on it 100,000 + you have to be burning it or leaking it, are you sure you are adding the correct amount, valve guide selas could be worn, have a compression check done so youll know how good the pistions and valves really areI have a 1991 Chevy Cavalier and the volts light came on..?
there is not smoke becuase the fantastic top of hi-tech. catalytic. Can remote start be installed on a standard vehicle?
yary-yara.
I know exactly what your problem is. When you did the oil change, did you make sure the old seal for the oil filter was off? I just did an oil change on my van and that is what happened. luckily, we were heading to auto zone to get parts for a car I was doing the head gasket on. I have done hundreds of oil changes and never had that happen to me so I was a little embarrassed at the parts store... Just try taking off the oil filter and making sure there is only one seal on there. GOOD LUCK!!
what happened to the three people on mount hood?
maybe it's oil goblins. if you were burning it you would both see, and smell it. i find it hard to believe you can't find traces(even when it sit's over night). check your plug on the pan, check the valve covers, check to make sure your not smoking,as the valve seals may need replacement.Auto question, what happens if you jump start a car?
try adding an oil additive on your next oil change , it may help,,maybe.Saturn's are known for using oil you just half to check it often and keep it topped up.More Questions & Answers ...
